Ulises Amaya is a performer, educator, composer, arranger, music director, and band coach from Long Island, New York. With over 20 years of experience, he has performed across the United States at venues big and small.

Ulises is a seasoned performer well versed in a wide variety of musical styles. He has played everything from large festivals to jazz bars, from weddings to cabarets, classic musicals and avante-garde modern theater. Recently he set out on a national tour with ska band, Stop The Presses.

As an educator, Ulises has worked with countless students and performance groups, young and old. His private students have been accepted into higher learning programs like Berklee College of Music, performing arts high schools, NYSSMA’s All-County festival, Long Island String Festival, and more.
